Today, we grow across 50 different ranches/farms in the Pajaro Valley on the Central Coast. In order to keep a steady supply for our customers year-round through the Winter, we grow on an additional 17 ranches in the Imperial Valley, Southern California and Mexicali Valley, Mexico. With years of farming experience with a strong understanding of each growing regions, we’re able to utilize the microclimates in our valleys to grow crops that normally wouldn’t do well. Instead of attempting to farm a single crop on several hundred acres, we spread out and grow on several smaller parcels/gardens – hence the name “Lakeside Organic Gardens”.
